How BCHunter handles information you share with us.

Who we are
BCHunter operates bchunter.com and the Insider Access member area. For privacy questions or requests, email jen@bchunter.com.
Information we collect
When you request the free guide, we collect your email address and confirmation status. When you send a trip inquiry or contact us, we collect the contact details, trip preferences, budget, and message you choose to provide. Member accounts use an email address, authentication details, and the hunt plans or comparison information you save. We also receive basic technical information needed to operate and protect the site.
How we use it
We use your information to send the guide you requested, answer inquiries, provide member access, maintain your saved planning information, process and reconcile purchases, protect the service, and communicate about your account. Guide email-list enrollment requires email confirmation. You can ask us to stop marketing emails using an unsubscribe link when available or by contacting us.
Analytics and cookies
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are used to understand site performance. Optional analytics storage is denied until you choose “Accept Analytics.” You can reject it or change your choice using Cookie Preferences in the footer. Essential storage may still be used for sign-in and your consent choice.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the site; Supabase provides member authentication and saved data; Resend handles email delivery and confirmed guide subscribers; Google provides analytics when permitted. When checkout is enabled, Paddle will process payment details and send BCHunter a purchase confirmation. BCHunter does not collect card numbers on this site. These providers may process information in other countries under their own terms and safeguards.
Sharing and retention
We share information with service providers as needed to run the functions above, or when required by law. We do not sell your contact information. We keep information while it is needed for the service, account, transaction records, security, or legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it when appropriate.
Your choices and requests
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing jen@bchunter.com. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, or security reasons. You can withdraw optional analytics consent at any time using Cookie Preferences.
Security and changes
We use access controls and service providers designed to protect account and purchase information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the site changes; the date above shows the latest version.
